The hall is an ideal venue for children's parties or as a venue for sporting/keep fit clubs and societies to meet.   It is suitable for badminton or 5-a-side football and it also has basketball nets.  Due to the glass apex to the ceiling, the hall is light and airy and so has become an ideal venue to host regular meetings of a local art group. 

Situated right in the centre of the village just behind the Village Hall, The Old Gym offers a large and airy community hall and meeting room.

The meetings room has folding tables and chairs along with simple kitchen facilities for making tea and coffee. There are lockable storage cupboards in this room which can be made available to regular users if required.

The building has full toilet facilities (including provision for people with disabilities). Both rooms and all heating and lighting is included in the hourly booking fee.
